AURAXIO COOKIE POLICY

Effective Date: [LAUNCH DATE] Last Updated: [LAUNCH DATE]

WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Auraxio uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Auraxio uses a minimal number of cookies — only what is necessary to run the platform and understand how it is being used. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking of any kind.

WHAT IS A COOKIE

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow websites to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you do not have to re-enter that information on every page.

Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses. They are simply data files that your browser stores and sends back to the website on subsequent visits.

COOKIES AURAXIO USES

Category 1 — Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use the app. They cannot be disabled.

| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | |---|---|---|---| | sb-[project-ref]-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you authenticated and logged into the app. Contains your session token. Without this cookie the application cannot identify you. | Session / up to 7 days (refreshed on activity) | | sb-[project-ref]-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | Security token used during the authentication flow (PKCE). Prevents session hijacking during login. | Session only (deleted after login completes) |

Legal basis: These cookies are strictly necessary for the legitimate interest of providing the service you have contracted with us to provide. No consent is required under ePrivacy rules for strictly necessary cookies.

Category 2 — Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how agents use Auraxio so we can improve the product. They track usage patterns — which features are used, where agents drop off, how long it takes to complete the agreement flow.

| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | |---|---|---|---| | ph_[project_key]posthog | PostHog | Identifies your anonymous usage session across page visits. Used to track feature usage, funnel completion, and retention metrics. | 1 year | | ph[project_key]_posthog_session | PostHog | Tracks your current session for session-level analytics. | 30 minutes from last activity |

What PostHog does NOT collect:

  • Buyer names, phone numbers, or any buyer personal information
  • Agreement content or compensation amounts
  • Your real estate license number
  • Payment information

PostHog events are associated with a randomly assigned identifier, not your name or email address. We can delete all PostHog data associated with your account on request.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest in understanding how the product is used to improve it. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time (see Your Choices below).

Category 3 — No Advertising Cookies

Auraxio does not use any advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags, or any technology designed to track you across other websites for advertising purposes.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not participate in any advertising network.

BUYER-SPECIFIC NOTE

If you are a buyer who accessed Auraxio solely to sign a buyer representation agreement via an SMS link, we set only the minimum cookies necessary to load the signing page. We do not set analytics cookies on the buyer signing page (auraxio.com/sign/[code]). Buyers are never tracked by PostHog.

LOCAL STORAGE

In addition to cookies, Auraxio may use browser local storage to store:

  • Your UI preferences (e.g., whether the sidebar is expanded or collapsed)
  • Draft form data if you start filling a form and navigate away

This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers. It is deleted when you clear your browser data.

YOUR CHOICES

Accepting or Declining Analytics Cookies

When you first use the Auraxio app, you will see a cookie consent notice. You can:

  • Accept all cookies (including analytics)
  • Accept only strictly necessary cookies (analytics will be disabled)

You can change your preference at any time in Settings → Privacy.

If you decline analytics cookies, Auraxio still functions fully. You will not be tracked by PostHog.

Browser Settings

You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies

Note: Blocking strictly necessary cookies (Supabase auth) will prevent you from logging into Auraxio.

Opt-Out Links

  • PostHog: posthog.com/privacy (opt-out available on their site)

DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Auraxio respects DNT signals. If your browser sends a DNT signal, Auraxio will not initialize the PostHog analytics library.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We will update this Cookie Policy if we add or remove cookies. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. For material changes, we will notify active account holders by email.
